Brinkmanship

In 1949, the first H-bomb was created by the same man who helped with the making of the A-bomb. At this point, Eisenhower and Krhuschev were the leaders of the United States of America and the Soviet Union. Eventually, the CIA got involved and led the nations to a confrence in Geneva, where Eisenhower proposed the "open Skies". Also we had our secret U2 planes that flew over the Soviet Union to get pictures until they found out.
