The Space Race

In October, 1957, the Soviet launched their 1st satilite into space....It was called Sputnik. Since the Soviet Union was capable of building a rocket strong enouph to bring a satilite to space, then they were surely capable of building one to bring automic bombs to the US. Knowing that, the Us began building rockets, satilites, space capsules, and they hired people to be space men.
