The Korean War
The Korean War began on June 25th, 1950, when North Korea invaded South Korea with a surprise attack. In Korea, the armies of both the U.S. and USSR withdrew, but each side armed their "own" part of the country. The first year of the Korean war was like a seesaw, going back and forth, while the last two years were very intense.
